By Registering For This Training, You Have Acknowledged And Agreed To The Following:

  • Attendance: Your presence at the entire training is required. No partial credit can be awarded. Please also note that by taking the training in this online format, you will be required to take a quiz following the training.

  • Technological Requirements: This training will be hosted by the video conferencing platform Zoom. The link for registering for the Zoom meeting will be included in the Podia course page. This link will prompt you to download the Zoom software if you have not already done so, and will then send you a link to join the webinar. Please plan on joining a few minutes early for troubleshooting if you are not already familiar with the platform. By registering for these trainings, you acknowledge that you meet the technological requirements needed to participate. If you require technical assistance, you are required to reach out to your instructor at least one week prior to the start of training.

  • Training Information & Eligibility: The instructor and this training are approved by the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) for advanced EMDR training. This training is only available to clinicians who have completed an EMDRIA-approved Foundational/Basic Training. Eligibility for EMDRIA continuing education credits are applicable only for the EMDR-trained therapists who have completed an EMDRIA-approved Foundational/Basic Training. By registering for this training, you are stating that you meet these requirements.

  • Payment: Payment is due at the time of registration. A sliding scale fee is available for clinicians and/or student interns who have demonstratable financial need. Please contact the trainer via email for cancellation/refund requests.

  • Professionalism: Participants agree to attend the full training, arrive on time, and be fully present. Participants agree to reach out to the trainer if any unexpected problems arise. Staying present for online learning can come with its unique set of challenges, and you agree to take full responsibility for addressing your needs in the area of grounding and self-care during the training. Participants agree to refrain from all alcohol and illicit drug use during the training and agree to speak with the trainer if you anticipate that your impairment due to prescribed medications might pose a problem during the training. The trainer reserves the right to remove participants at any time if the participant negatively impacts the online learning environment, or for any other reason, at their sole discretion.

  • Accommodations: We ask that if you are in need of any special accommodations that will allow you to take the training with us online, please email the trainer with any special requests thirty days before the scheduled training. If, during the training, a need for accommodations arise, you are expected to contact your instructor immediately and we will discuss the best possible solution.

  • Confidentiality: While there is no client relationship or other privilege that would create a duty rising to the level of clinical confidentiality in this training setting, you are expected to respect the confidentiality of other participants in the group.

  • Preparedness for Doing Your Own Work: Throughout the training, you will be expected to participate and engage via questions & answers, discussion, reflection, etc. If you are currently in counseling or being treated for a mental health condition, it is recommended that you speak with your provider, alerting them that you are participating in the training. If you have received a major mental health diagnosis (past or present), you acknowledge that you are taking this training at your own risk, and agree to alert the trainer prior to the start of the training (when possible) if any complications arise. Participants agree to keep the online environment as safe as possible for all involved. If any problems arise, you agree to address them with the instructor.
